SalesCloser files patent on multi-agent live call orchestration

SalesCloser has filed its eleventh US patent application, covering technology that lets multiple specialised AI agents collaborate within a single live sales call.

SalesCloser Technologies has filed a new US patent application with the USPTO covering what it describes as dynamic multi-agent participation and orchestration in live calls. The application, submitted on 16 October 2026, seeks to protect coordination infrastructure that enables several specialised AI agents to participate in a single conversation without interrupting each other or fragmenting the buyer's experience.

The Vancouver-based company, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker SCAI, says the underlying capability has been live on its platform since 25 September 2026. The filing brings SalesCloser's intellectual property portfolio to three granted patents and eight pending applications, with this latest submission extending coverage beyond single-channel and cross-channel continuity into real-time multi-agent coordination.

How the architecture works

Under the system described in the filing, a primary AI agent handles the call and specialist agents join mid-conversation when their expertise is required. The orchestration layer manages turn-taking so agents do not speak over one another or over the human participant. From the customer's point of view, the interaction remains a single, unbroken conversation rather than a sequence of handoffs between separate bots.

The company positions the capability as a direct analogue to a human sales team, where a technical specialist or commercial negotiator might be brought into a deal discussion as it progresses. Use cases cited in the release include real-time handling of technical specifications, pricing options, compliance checks, and localised product demonstrations.

Chief executive Ali Tajskandar said: "Enterprise sales conversations are rarely one-dimensional. Our vision has always been to replicate the full capability of a human sales team. This patent application seeks to protect the core orchestration infrastructure designed to allow multiple specialised AI agents to collaborate in real time on a live call without interrupting each other or disrupting the buyer's experience."

Market context

The broader agentic AI market is developing rapidly. Gartner projected in August 2025 that 40 per cent of enterprise applications would feature task-specific AI agents by 2026, up from fewer than 5 per cent in 2025, suggesting significant near-term adoption pressure on vendors to demonstrate production-ready multi-agent systems.

SalesCloser competes in a crowded conversational AI and AI sales-automation space that includes well-funded startups as well as larger CRM and sales-engagement platform vendors building agentic layers on top of existing products. The company's stated patent strategy targets concrete execution infrastructure rather than abstract concepts, which is a defensible approach given the USPTO's heightened scrutiny of broad software patents following the Alice Corp ruling. However, formal examination of this application has not yet begun, and there is no assurance that any claims will be allowed in their current form.

SalesCloser separately announced that its investor relations services agreement with CapitaLynx will conclude on 30 November 2026, following the company's qualifying transaction and listings on the OTCQB and Frankfurt Open Market. The company did not disclose a replacement IR arrangement. Investors will be watching for customer case studies and commercial metrics that demonstrate real-world adoption of the multi-agent capability as the patent prosecution process unfolds.
