Climb Global Solutions acquires NeoVAD for €16m to expand in France
Climb Global Solutions has completed the acquisition of NeoVAD, a France-based value-added distributor specialising in cybersecurity, cloud services and virtualisation, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately €16 million (around $18 million). The deal, announced on 22 October 2026, extends Climb's European platform and adds a well-established French reseller network to its existing EMEA operations.
NeoVAD, headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, serves approximately 300 active resellers, integrators and managed service providers across France. The company holds vendor relationships with Cato Networks, DataCore and Netwrix, and operates a fully indirect, two-tier distribution model that includes presales support, technical training and demand-generation services. For its fiscal year ended 31 December 2025, NeoVAD generated EBITDA of approximately €2.2 million, representing growth of 487% from roughly €378,000 the prior year, according to management-prepared internal financials.
The deal
Climb chief executive Dale Foster said the acquisition provides meaningful reach in France while creating opportunities to extend the company's broader vendor portfolio into NeoVAD's reseller network. He highlighted Microsoft distribution as a specific growth lever, noting that NeoVAD's local training and technical support capabilities could complement Climb's existing EMEA infrastructure. Foster said the deal is expected to be accretive to earnings and adjusted EBITDA, and that NeoVAD's margin profile supports the group's wider profitability objectives.
NeoVAD founder and chief executive Jérôme Boulon said the two companies share a focus on specialised, high-touch distribution and that Climb's broader platform should help expand the solutions available to NeoVAD's reseller partners. "We see significant opportunity to expand the solutions we bring to our reseller partners while creating additional opportunities for our vendors across Climb's European platform," Boulon said.
Climb has filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the US Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the transaction.
Market context
The European IT distribution market has been consolidating steadily, as specialist value-added distributors face pressure from both broadline rivals and direct-to-reseller vendor programmes. Acquirers such as Climb are using roll-up strategies to build scale in individual country markets, where local language support, vendor certification and partner enablement services remain difficult to replicate remotely.
France represents one of western Europe's larger IT markets and is notable for the strength of its cybersecurity regulatory environment, shaped in part by requirements set by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency. Vendors such as Cato Networks, whose SASE platform has attracted strong reseller interest across Europe, benefit from distributors with in-country technical depth that can support complex deployments.
Climb already operates in the US, Canada and parts of Europe through its Climb Channel Solutions, Grey Matter and Climb Global Services units. The NeoVAD acquisition follows the separate interworks.cloud transaction referenced in the company's forward-looking disclosures, suggesting an active acquisition pipeline aimed at broadening the group's European footprint. Investors will be watching integration execution and whether the vendor relationships named in the release translate into measurable net new revenue across the combined platform over the next two to four quarters.
